Accelerator (Gravity Cannon) is a Ring Gear characterized by its incredible Boost Speed.

While it lacks much offensive power, its powerful Boost and high Top Speed grants it consistency and respectable performance in races.

Accelerator's playstyle encourages players to maximize rings in order to make frequent use of its powerful boost.
Pros	Cons
Type Shortcut Gain: Accelerator gains Rings from using Type shortcuts, which grants a powerful advantage on certain stages allowing the user to make more frequent use of Boosts. Storm and Wave make the best use of this effect. Consistency: Accelerator's Boost is expensive, but its high cruising speed allows for consistent play while regaining rings during its "Cooldown" state. 500 Speed Boost: Accelerator possesses the most powerful (albeit most expensive) Boost in the game, which can be used to rapidly apply catchup pressure or take the lead.	Offensive Utility: Accelerator's boost does not attack other players, meaning that opponents are safe from interaction aside from Tornadoes. Getting attacked or colliding with a Tornado after boosting can be crippling (Stage-dependent). Expensive Boost: While Accelerator's boost is powerful, it is very expensive which makes its use quite infrequent and forces the user to cruise often.
