Overview

Beginner is a Standard/Drift Gear using some of the most powerful Drifting stats in the game to gain an edge over other gears.

It does not lose any Air passively, greatly helping its efficiency yet not without its drawbacks.

Special Effects: - No Passive Air Drain - Increased Drift Cap

Pros And Cons

Beginner is primarily used as a Drift Gear supported by the stats of a Standard Gear to carve a niche on a few Stages.
Pros Cons
  • Excellent Drift Stats: Beginner has the highest Drift Cap in the game and low Drift frames, setting it apart from other Drift Gears and making it much more reliable. Its lack of Passive Air Drain makes it easier to use in its given playstyle.
  • Low Boost Cost: Beginner has lower Boost Costs than other Standard Gears, making it more efficient along with not losing any Air from cruising. This allows it to make more use of techniques such as Bonk Dashes, JCBC and DPC etc.
  • High Drift Cost: While Beginner is a very potent gear, it suffers on resource-scarce Stages due to its high Drift Cost. This forces an overreliance on Turbulence in order to compensate and continue operating at full power.
