Overview

Access is a Type-granting gear that enables any character to use Fly Type shortcuts.

Its stats, while somewhat favorable towards drifting, are generally unremarkable. Similarly to other Type-granting gears, the primary advantage Access provides is in the additional shortcut type afforded, and enjoys use on stages with bias towards Fly Types.

Pros And Cons

Access is a Type-granting gear that allows for a unique set of playstyles revolving around the Fly type shortcuts.
Pros Cons
  • Decent Cruise Speed: Access has a decent cruise speed which keeps it going at low air.
  • Extra Fly Hoop Speed (Mono Only): When using Fly types, Access grants extra fly shortcut speed.
  • Above Average Boost Cost Access has a slightly higher boost cost for an average boost speed.
  • Easily Pressured: Due to the High Boost Cost and average cruise speed, Access is easily pressured on the ground, though this is offset when up in the air taking a shortcut.
