Overview

High Booster's boost cost is half of whatever your max air value is, it is most commonly used on the 'Late Boosting' character archetype to drag out its level 3 boost.

Very compatible with 'Power Type' characters as it lets High Booster keep boosting with little to no interruption or break. It can be very precise and thus when using high-booster you have little air to contribute towards interaction.

Pros And Cons

High Booster is a high-risk, high-reward gear that focuses on unique routing to create a lead and avoiding interaction to keep it.
Pros Cons
  • Speed: The gear boosts at extremely high speeds which makes catchup without turbulence very difficult, so once it gets a lead it can hold onto it for a while if consistent.
  • Air usage: It takes half of your air gauge, so after a single boost, you need to regain some air before you can boost again and be safe. Makes interaction nigh impossible due to only having air to use a tornado.
  • Top Speed: High Booster has an abominable top speed, so if it isn't boosting, it's left very vulnerable to interaction.
